The goal of Be Active! Summer Camps each year is to provide healthy, fun, and educational activities for campers age 5-15 years (all campers must have completed Kindergarten). We strive to create an environment where your child has an enthralling experience fostering life-long participation in sports and recreational activities. Regardless of experience in outdoor recreation or sports, each child is welcome and encouraged to participate in our summer camps. Each participant receives a t-shirt on the first day of camp that he or she should wear often throughout the week. Additionally, each child needs to bring sunscreen, bottled water (labeled with name), and wear weather-appropriate clothing and shoes to camp each day. All camp sessions are 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. Campers may be dropped off as early as 8:30 a.m. and picked up no later than 12:30 p.m. Many sessions end with a Friday showcase event that parents are encouraged to attend!
Registration
Registration for all summer camps begins March 4.
Register online, it is quick and convenient!
Fees
Registration for each camp is $75.
Registration is accepted on a first come, first served basis. Because space is limited, no registrations are refunded.

Outdoor Adventure Camp participants fish, hike, play disc golf and ultimate frisbee, learn about orienteering, as well as ride mountain bikes, conquer a 25 foot rock wall, and paddle a kayak through the waters of Lake Fayetteville! The camp ends with the annual Outdoor Adventure Race. All campers receive a camp shirt and a camp themed prize.
Outdoor Advanced Camp 4 (ages 10-15) is offered 22-26. Participants do activities similar to Outdoor Adventure Camp, but are encouraged to achieve goals in each activity consistent with their age group.
Soccer Camp
Soccer Camp is an excellent way for children to improve their skills in "the beautiful game," especially with the guidance of OliverSoccer instructors. Each morning participants work on skills such as shooting, dribbling, and passing, while playing various games designed to improve foot-eye coordination in a fun atmosphere. All campers receive a t-shirt and soccer ball, which they bring to camp with them each day.
Tennis Camp
Tennis Camp teaches and refines basic tennis form and techniques including forehand, backhand, volley, serving and footwork. With the help of Ozark Tennis Academy instructors children enjoy games in the USTA's 10 and under format to improve their skills and earn the title of "Court Champion!" All campers receive a camp t-shirt as well as a camp themed visor to keep the sun out of the eyes of our future tennis masters!
Drama Camp
Drama Camp introduces campers to theatre with fundamental acting techniques and methods. Stage fright be gone; camper thespians find their voice! With the help of the Young Actors Guild, campers learn acting techniques, theatre terminology, and explore character creation through fun and games. The camp culminates on Friday with an original showcase performance. All campers receive a camp t-shirt as well as sunglasses to keep the Sun out of the actors’ eyes while on stage!
Camp Wilson
At Camp Wilson, campers engage in a variety of games and activities while getting to know Wilson Park. From kickball to volleyball, tennis to four square, swimming to a dance-off; Camp Wilson has it all! Campers bring their swimsuit, a towel, and tennis shoes to camp each day. Each camper receives a camp t-shirt and a themed drawstring backpack perfect for daily camp needs.
Inclement weather notification is sent by text no later than 8 a.m. each day of camp.
