Wilson Park South Neighborhood Parking Permits
City Ordinance 6259 of 2019 established a parking district for an eight-block area south of Wilson Park. The boundaries of the neighborhood parking district consist of Louise Street on the north, Park Avenue on the east, Maple Street on the south, and Wilson Avenue on the west. Residents within this parking district are eligible to receive parking permits at no cost. The on-street spaces within this district are a combination of permit-only and mixed-use paid parking designations.
"Residential-Parking-Only" areas of the Wilson Park South Neighborhood Parking District require a residential parking permit. Residents can obtain their permits free of charge from the Parking Management Office. The Enrollment Information (PDF) and the Enrollment Form are available online. You may complete an online Enrollment Form or download a fill-and-print version.
The completed enrollment form(s) and required documentation may be brought to the Parking Management Office, 416 W. Spring Street, for processing. We will have your permits ready for you in just a few minutes. If you are unable to come to the office, you may fax, scan and email, or mail the form(s) and documentation to us. We will be glad to process your paperwork and mail the appropriate permits to you.
If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to contact the Parking Management Office at 479-575-8280 or send us an email.
Requirements for Residents of Fraternal Units
A letter from the fraternal unit on official letterhead authorizing the applicant as a resident of the unit must be submitted to the Parking Division prior to applying for permits. See enrollment information and requirements for fraternal units here.
Public Use of Paid On-Street Parking
Where designated by signs, certain mixed-use on-street parking spaces within the neighborhood permit parking district are available to the public for paid parking. Please note the number that appears on the pavement as you park, as you will need this number to pay for parking.
Payment to park in these spaces can be made by using the convenient Pay by Phone service. When prompted by the system, use Location 2526 for the WPS Neighborhood Permit Parking District.
