The aquathlon is a swimming and running race. The swim will consist of laps across the width of the pool. The run will take place on paved trails. A transition area will be set up adjacent to the pool deck. Volunteers will be in this area to assist participants with transitioning from the swim to the run, i.e. putting on tennis shoes, taking off goggles, ensuring race bib is visible before starting the run. Race distances are based on age and age will be determined by the participant's age on race day.

Join us on Wednesdays at 6pm (July 5, 12, 19, 26) and/or Thursdays at 11am (July 6, 13, 20, 27) for an hour of practice time. Each session will allow for 20-25 minutes in the pool and 20-25 minutes in the park. The purpose of the practice sessions are to familiarize children with the race format and prepare them for what to expect on race day. These sessions do not require registration and are free.
